Fable Legends Delays Open Beta to Spring 2016

Fable Legends has been in development for a while now. The multiplayer focused installment in the Fable series, Fable Legends will make questing a social event. Allowing you and a group of your friends to take on the problems of Albion.

Sadly, it seems the team at Lionhead have decided to extend the Closed Beta to allow the game the time it needs to be finished. With the expansive scope of Fable Legends, the team needs extra time to eliminate bugs, issues and overall problems with the experience.

According to the announcement, they outline that they “didn’t anticipate just how big Fable Legends is becoming. It’s simply the most ambitious game we’ve ever created at Lionhead. We’ve built a unique and innovative multiplayer experience combining RPG and RTS gameplay which allows you to play, and use your gear seamlessly, across Xbox One and Windows 10. On top of this, we’ve built a beautiful new world full of grand stories and adventures. And it’s taking more time than we thought.”

From everything CGMagazine has played of Fable Legends, it is looking strong. Stunning visuals and a solid system at play are making it an engaging experience. It will be exciting to see what the final product pans out to be. With the closed beta running 24/7 and features being added constantly, the team at Lionhead are ensuring Fable Legends will be a must play game, and more time is never a bad thing if it means the final product is that much better to play. Stay tuned to CGM for more details on Fable Legends and when you can join in on the action.
