Fans of Dying Light will have more reasons to jump back in the zombie hordes February 9 when the expansion: The Following, is released.
The Following already promises players a map just as large as the original to explore along with a new story line and now with weaponized buggies.
The Following is also bringing back the fan-favourite mode, Be the Zombie, a 4vs1 game type where one player takes the role of the night hunter, a terrifying foe to say the least. What changes now is that The Following looks to create a wider open space for players to explore, which means less hiding spots for everyone. However, with the inclusion of the buggies this also changes how the human players approach survival and how the zombie player will strategize its victory.
“Be the Zombie plays much different in the expansion not only because of buggies and the new environment, but also because of various balance tweaks we made to the Night Hunter,” said Tymon Smektala, the Producer. “Altogether it translates into a new experience that will surprise even veteran Be the Zombie players.”
Dying Light: The Following can bought as just the stand alone expansion for your base game, through the season pass or by picking up Dying Light: The Following Enhanced Edition at your retailer as a physical copy.
