Smite Coming to PS4

Smite Coming to PS4 1

Have you ever wanted to play as a god and do battle with all the other gods? Well if you own a PS4, you will soon be able to. Smite: Battleground of the Gods is finally making it’s way over to the PS4. It has been on the PC for a while, and last year launched for the XBOX One, but finally if all you owned was a PS4, you can now get in on the action.

The closed alpha launched today, with the closed beta launching early March. If you want to get in on the action, you can now opt-in for your chance to play.

Taking the Moba style game to a 3rd person perspective, Smite gives players access to a pantheon of over70 different playable deities and mythological creatures. Created by Hi-Rez Studios in 2013, Smite now boasts an online community of over 14 million players.

Smite is a free-to-play experience with players having access to a selection of free gods (Ymir, Thor, Neith, Guan Yu, and Ra) with more gods being rotated though. The PS4 version will also feature exclusive skins that will act as a reward to players who link their PS4 account with their Hi-Rez accounts. There will also be the ability to buy a PS4 Founders Pack for $29.99 that will unlock all present and future gods along with 400 Gems, instant Beta access and an Ares “Soldier of Fortune” skin.
