Podcast king Kevin Smith has teamed up with Interabang and is now crowd-funding a videogame!
Being developed by Interabang and already up on Fig.co for funding, Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch is a side-scrolling 2.5 brawler.The story, such as it is, follows Jay and Silent Bob as they search for an Orange Julius that they aren’t banned from. In a neighbouring town, the two find an Orwellian mega mall. From there, players can team up with their buddy for some over-the-top brawler action as they use the new convo-combo mode used to demoralize opponents and destroy their self-worth with dialogue options chosen by the player.
The team at Interabang has long been influenced by Kevin Smith and his work and are more than excited to be working on this title.
The initial goal is $400,000 and tiers include rewards such as being on set for Smith’s next film. You can read more and donate here.
