Jump into Paragon early with a Founder’s Pack 1

If you’re itching to get in on Epic Games’ newest title, Paragon, then you can grab yourself a seat on March 14 by purchasing a Founder’s Pack.

As Epic Games prepares to bring the MOBA to launch, it will host free beta weekends for those that don’t feel like dropping the cash to play.

Paragon will be going up on Early Access on March 18, as a result, many of the features will be placeholder or unavailable for a time. The open beta starts in the Summer and will be available to all at that time. Players who get in on Early Access will be able to keep their progress and their account will remain persistent.

Epic is stressing that nothing in Paragon is pay-to-win and will remain completely for free, only cosmetic items, such as skins and emotes, are up for paying customers. “Paragon is designed so that all players can compete and win without ever having to spend money,” said Steve Superville, the creative director. “All Heroes are free, and cards can only be earned by playing the game. The game will never be pay-to-win, meaning we will never sell gameplay-affecting items. We will sell cosmetic items (skins, emotes), boosts and other convenience items, along with Paid Early Access. We’re taking this approach because we believe that competitive games need to be fair for all players.”

You can buy a Founder’s pack for $19.99, a Challenger pack for $59.99 and a Master pack $99.99 on Steam. Paragon will be coming to PS4 and is on PC, more details to follow.
