Woz and Luckey Kick off Silicon Valley Comic Con

Silicon Valley kicks off its inaugural Comic Con with some heavy hitting celebrities within the tech and comic book world.

Participating in a number of events and sessions is Steve Wozniak, he’ll be running the welcoming address in the grand ballroom and he’ll also be doing the closing address with none other than Stan Lee. Where they’ll discuss how their friendship helped to bring Comic Con to Silicon Valley and the kind of future they look forward to with the combination of technology and pop culture.

Also joining with Woz will be Palmer Luckey, the creator of the Oculus Rift.

“We couldn’t have a technology and pop culture event without featuring one of today’s brightest and most talented young inventors,” said Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak. “We’ve only just touched on the potential of VR. Palmer is paving the way, and this new technology will change the way we play games, watch entertainment, educate and more.”

Silicon Valley Comic Con will run from March 18-20, check online for ticket sales and scheduling.
