Polyphony Digital CEO Kazunori Yamauchi announced the new installment in the long-running franchise races into stores on November 15th. GT Sport is a standalone spin-off, and features 140 cars and 19 tracks. Sport has a major e-Sports element, broadcasting live races to be held on a regular basis.
A Limited Edition was announced, containing $129 worth of added content, including a GT Sport Starter Pack, 1MM in-game credits, a livery sticker pack and 30 GT Sport avatars.
Sony also announced several pre-order incentives for GT Sport. Everyone who pre-orders the game will receive a 3-Car Pack, featuring the Ford Mustang Group B Rally Car, Toyota FT-1 Vision GT Group 3, and the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP LMP1.
Additionally, there are other various retail-exclusive pre-order bonuses available as well: Gamestop customers receive 2 more cars; the Chevrolet Corvette Group 3 and the Nissan NISMO GTR GT-3 N24. Amazon shoppers receive $500,000 in-game credits. Finally, players who pre-order via the PlayStation Store can get GT Sport themed avatars, a GT Sport dynamic theme, and $500,000 in-game credits.
