In a recent post on the Destiny Subreddit, a snapshot of marketing posters for the next expansion for Destiny have been leaked. With E3 just weeks away, it is only to be expected that Bungie will be making some announcement about the expansion soon, with it presumably being released in September.
To this point, Desiny’s expansions have included The Dark Below, House of Wolves and The Taken King. According to Kotaku, sources close to Bungie have confirmed the authenticity of the leaked image. According to the same sources, the expansion would feature a new raid and will be larger than the two year-one DLC packs we have seen so far.
This is not surprising news, especially considering Activition announced that Destiny would be getting a “large” new expansion in 2016, with Destiny 2 hitting some time in 2017. With E3 only weeks away, it should not be long before we learn all the details about what Bungie and Activision have planed for the future of Destiny.
