Are you a console Fallout player but secretly jealous of your PC toting friends with all their interesting mods? Well, you’re in luck, especially if you own an Xbox One, because you’re finally going to get the Mod experience a bit sooner than you think.
Bethesda tweeted an announcement that Mod support for the Xbox One versions of Fallout 4 will be releasing next week on May 31st. While the Mod support was announced months ago, this is the first time we’ve gotten a release date.

Mods have always been a staple for Bethesda games on PC. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, still has a thriving modding community to this day. Mods can greatly enhance the experience of a game and extend its relativity and lifespan. Adding Mod support for consoles is a huge step and can further strengthen positive developer-gamer relations.
While the details are still uncertain on exactly how you install the mods on your console, Bethesda also tweeted out that you will require a Bethesda account.
PS4 support is still slated to come out next month.
