After Months of offering PC Players what it was like to fight against an Alien invader, XCOM 2 will be headed to consoles in September.
It is interesting to note that the work on this console port is not being done in-house at Firaxis. Instead they will be outsourcing it to The Workshop, who are known for their work on Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage for Bordlerands 2 and The PlayStation 4, Xbox One versions of The Evil Within.
As a special bonus, if you pre-order the game, you will receive the Resistance Warrior Pack, that will include customization items and a new recruit. Those who jump in and pre-purchase the deluxe edition of the game, will receive the XCOM 2 Reinforcement Pack, that is essentially a package of all paid DLC for the game up to this point.
For those eager to slay aliens on consoles the wait will not be long, it will be hitting the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6th at a price point of $59.99, no price has been given for the Deluxe edition yet.
