Remedy Expands Into Two Game Development Teams

Remedy Expands Into Two Game Development Teams 1

Remedy Entertainment, the company behind Quantum Break and Alan Wake, have announced today a split into two game development teams in order to create more games and get them out sooner.

In the announcement, Thomas Puha, Head of Communications, states that support for Quantum Break will continue, which was the biggest-selling Microsoft Studios new IP published of this generation.

“For a while now already, we’ve been developing a brand new Remedy game with a new partner,” said Puha. “Our second team is working on an early concept, which will turn into another Remedy game sometime in the future.”

Unfortunately for those fans of Alan Wake eagerly awaiting a new game, Puha gave the sad news that neither of the two projects they’re working on are a new Alan Wake game. Remedy also wants to stay quiet on these projects for awhile and will not be attending this year’s E3 or gamescom.
