Here's Who You Can Play as in the FIFA 17 Demo

It’s the time of year that every soccer fan waits for, just two weeks before FIFA 17 is released and the game’s demo is out tomorrow, Tuesday September 12th.

Cheekily releasing on the same day as Pro Evolution Soccer 2017, the FIFA 17 demo gives players the annual two weeks of time to get used to how the new game feels before it fully releases.

After the release date for the demo was confirmed last week, details of what eagerly anticipating players will be able to sink their teeth into have now been released by EA. With clubs, stadiums and game modes all being detailed.

A small part of FIFA 17’s ground breaking new story mode, The Journey, will be available to play for those on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as they’ll be able to experience playing as young Alex Hunter as he makes his way at Manchester United.

However, The Journey and Frostbite won’t be available for those who are playing on a last gen console, but they will still be able to play Kick-Off matches and delve into Skill Games.

Speaking of which, there will be four single player and three multiplayer Skill Games that players can play to pass the time as Kick-Off matches load.

In the Kick-Off matches, which will more than likely be limited in length, players will be able to play in a selection of three stadiums: Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge, Suita City Football Stadium in Japan and the CenturyLink Field, the home of Seattle Sounders.

The demo will also include a wide selection of 12 various teams, hailing from leagues such as the Barclays Premier League, Serie A, La Liga and the Bundesliga, that players will be able to try out:

  • Manchester United
  • Manchester City
  • Chelsea
  • Real Madrid
  • Juventus
  • Inter
  • Paris Saint-Germain
  • Olympique Lyonnais
  • Seattle Sounders
  • Bayern München
  • Tigres U.A.N.L. (MX)
  • Gamba Osaka

FIFA 17 releases worldwide on September 27th, 2016, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
