November’s Four Xbox Live Games With Gold Revealed

November's Four Xbox Live Games With Gold Revealed 2

Every month, Xbox Live Gold members are given access to a brand new selection of free games under Microsoft’s Games with Gold program. Of course, every month varies, with some selections being more memorable than others. Still, it’s worth checking out the program’s offerings every month to see what games are available for free. And this month’s selection looks quite good, with such titles as Murdered: Soul Suspect and Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon available for download for any Gold members.

Starting on Nov 1st, The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition and Super Dungeon Bros launch on Games with Gold. Then, on Nov 16th, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon and Murdered: Soul Suspect hit the store. While Monkey Island and Blood Dragon are both Xbox 360 titles, they can also be played on the Xbox One, thanks to the system’s backwards compatibility. Meaning Xbox One owners essentially get four free games to play, whereas 360 owners only get two.

This upcoming month’s offerings look quite strong, for that matter. Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon was a critically acclaimed standalone title to the original, bringing a 1980s action vibe to the game’s island paradise. And while Murdered: Soul Suspect has traditionally seen mixed reviews, it’s still worth giving a try once the game hits during the middle of the month.

Take note, though, that Xbox’s offerings aren’t available forever. You can only pick them up for a limited time. And while the Xbox One titles are available for a month’s time each, the Xbox 360 releases can only be downloaded for two weeks. So it’s better to act early and own the games than miss the opportunity.

Those are all the upcoming free titles for this month’s Xbox Live Gold members. Stay tuned for December’s offerings in one month’s time. With the holiday season just around the corner, Microsoft is sure to offer something interesting for Christmas buyers.
