Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 Delayed

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 Delayed 1

Fans of the Sniper Ghost Warrior series will have to wait to get their hands on the next entry as CI Games Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 will be delayed.

Fans won’t have to wait much longer however as the date has been pushed to April 25, 2017, with CI games stating the delay was based on feedback from their Beta which ran in February.

“We’ve worked tirelessly creating a whole new Sniper Ghost Warrior experience set in an ambitiously crafted open world new to the series,” said CEO of CI Games Marek Tymiński in a press release. “While it’s an unfortunate decision to delay the game one last time, we believe these final changes will result in a better experience for players worldwide on day one. Thank you for your patience – we know the wait will be worth it.”

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 allows players to take the role of a soldier dropped in northern Georgia, close to the Russian border. Players are encouraged to use a wide range of weapons, vehicles and even a drone to help compliment the three ways of playing: sniper, ghost, and warrior.

In a CGMagazine preview of Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, Editor Elias Blondeau stated that he hopes the game’s bugs can be fixed before launch, saying that “…as of right now, those hints are buried in mechanics that don’t mesh with each other, and hampered by unappealing landscapes populated by bad AI.”

Originally, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 was slated for an April 4, 2017 release, so perhaps the issues were small enough that an extra 24 days could work out the kinks in the title.

Aside from the Sniper Ghost Warrior franchise, CI Games worked on Lords of the Fallen which launched in 2014. Last month, the souls-like title was given a mobile app for Google Play and iOS.
