Inside was released last summer to critical acclaim. We reviewed Inside and said it “takes everything its predecessor did and turns up the heat, somehow creating a more engrossing and macabre experience.” Our review of Overcooked found that “if you’ve got some dedicated (and local) friends that are skilled gamers and aren’t afraid to come to your house, then Overcooked is easily recommendable.” We gave Firewatch a 9 out of 10 when it was released in February of 2016, stating that it “is narrative-driven adventure game dealing with adult issues in ways unlike any other game out there.”

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) have hosted a Games Awards show since 2004, making this year’s event the thirteenth on the record. Last year saw Her Story pick up three awards with Fallout 4 grabbing the Best Game award, while the year before that saw Destiny fill in the Best Game category.
