Elder Scrolls Online Will Be Free Throughout the Week

It seems as if Bethesda is a gift that just keeps on giving. Several months after they had a “Free Play Weekend” for The Elder Scrolls Online and one short week after they allowed players to partake in the first three levels of Dishonored 2, they confirmed yet another timespan for gamers to enjoy their creation for free.

Announced via The Elder Scrolls Online official website, the event will run for seven full days The Elder Scrolls Online can be enjoyed free of charge. Starting April 11, 2017 tomorrow at 10 a.m. EST and ending April 18, 2017 at the very same time, players will be able to enjoy the Tamriel Unlimited.

Once the game is downloaded, which can be done on either Xbox One, PC, or PlayStation 4, players will have full access to the game for a week. Do not get it twisted, this is not like the Dishonored 2 free trial in which only certain levels can be played, players can travel through the diverse world of Tamriel with no restrictions (other than a week of game time).

In addition to this, Bethesda will also credit all new accounts with 500 Crowns. For those unfamiliar with this game, this is the main currency; which can be spent on items from pets to costumes. To top it all off, this game will also be on sale for the timeframe it can be played for free. Although the exact discounted price is still unknown, Bethesda has stated that it will apply to either the Tamriel Unlimited edition or the Gold edition (which includes all the major DLC packs that have been released for the game).

Either way, for anyone looking to dive into a new adventure or for those who have been meaning to play The Elder Scrolls Online but have not found the time to do so now, is the perfect opportunity.
