Destiny 2 Limited Edition Playstation 4 Pro Console Announced

This isn’t the first time a limited edition PlayStation 4 was announced alongside Destiny content. When the original Destiny launched back in 2014, another Glacier White PlayStation 4 launched alongside with it.  Additionally, Destiny received several expansions since its launch, with the Taken King downloadable content being one of the more substantial upgrades for the title, the Taken King DLC launched in September of 2015 and with it, came arguably one of the better looking limited edition PlayStation 4 consoles.

Like the previously released Glacier White console, the Taken King Destiny themed PlayStation 4 was a white console, but what made it extra special was the ornate detail etched on to the top of the system, which consisted of the map of the game drawn in silver, with a gold Guardian crest in the middle.

Destiny 2 will launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September, 6, 2017, with the PC and Xbox One X version to follow sometime later.

For those wanting to try the game out can partake in the pre-order Beta which begins on July 18 on PlayStation 4, with Xbox owners joining in on the fun a day later. An open beta will also be available for those who did not pre-order the title, which will take place on July 21.
