EA Announces Star Wars BattleFront II Beta, Slated For October

Star Wars Battlefront 2 Controversy Prior To Imminent Release

EA on their official blog announced the Star Wars BattleFront II Beta, which has been slated for an October 2017 release.

The upcoming Star Wars BattleFront II Beta will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via EA’s Origin online game service. The beta will let players step into the shoes of a Stormtrooper, pilot iconic Star Wars vehicles, and dogfight in stunningly recreated locations spanning the expansive Star Wars universe.

The Beta will begin on October, 4, 2017, for those who have pre-ordered the game through participating retailers. Playerswill get to play the beta on a map based in Theed City, assuming the role of their favourite heroes in large scale battles in the beta’s 20 v 20 Galactic Assault Mode. In Addition to the Galactic Assault Mode, players will get a chance to try out the game’s Starfighter Assault battle mode, in this mode players will be able to jump into the cockpit of iconic and renowned ships from the Star Wars Universe and battle it out in airborne combat.

The Star Wars BattleFront II Beta will go public on October 6, in addition to early access to those who pre-order the title, early adopters will also receive bonus content including a Yoda’s Epic Lightsaber Mastery Star Card, which will only be available until supplies last until October, 9, 2017.

The game will include iconic playable characters such as Darth Maul, Rey, Finn, and Kylo Ren amongst many of the other characters that were already available in the original game. The game is shaping up to be a worthy sequel to the original title, unlike the first game, the sequel will include an all new campaign that promises to take players on a journey through all of the Star Wars movie universe, from the prequels to the new trilogy.

Star Wars BattleFront II will be available on November 17, 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
