Just Cause 3 To Be Part of August's PlayStation Plus Lineup 1

Sony announced their lineup for August’s free PlayStation Plus Games.

A new post on the PlayStation Blog announced all the games that PlayStation Plus subscribers can look forward to during the month of August.  The 2015 open world sandbox game Just Cause 3 will be available to download for free on the PlayStation 4.

Also available for PlayStation 4 owners is Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry. Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry was originally released as single player DLC for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag in 2013. A standalone version of the game was released the next year, allowing people to play the game without owning Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

The third PlayStation 4 exclusive coming to PlayStation Plus users is a party game titled, That’s You. That’s You is game where up to six players can use their phone to take part in a “social quiz” involving friends and family.

PlayStation 3 owners can look forward to downloading Super Motherload for free next month. Originally released in 2013, Super Motherload allows up to four players to work together to dig and collect resources on Mars.

Another PlayStation 3 title coming in August is Snakeball. Released digitally through PSN, Snakeball is a 3D remake of the classic Snake game. Snakeball adds a variety of new modes to the game while also working the PlayStation Eye camera allowing players to snap a picture and paste it onto their character.

For the PlayStation Vita, Downwell will be available for free next month. Downwell is a rogue-like vertical shooter that originally released on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2016. Players descend through an enemy filled well while collecting treasure and powering up.

Also Available for PlayStation Vita in August is Level 22. In Level 22, Players take on the role of an office worker named Gary who must sneak into his office on the 22nd floor to avoid being fired. Level 22 originally released in 2015 and is also available for PlayStation 4.
