Hi-Rez Studios Releases Updates to Their Games 2

Hi-Rez Studios has put out new content updates for all three of the company’s games. SMITE received a new god in the form of Artio, The Bear Goddess, Paladins received its newest hero in Janos, the Ascended, while Hand of the Gods received the biggest content update with the release of the newest pantheon in the game, the Mayan.

Beginning with SMITE, Artio is the newest guardian to be released. Coming from the Celtic Pantheon, Artio is the first true stance switch god in over three years. Changing between her druid form and her bear form, Artio brings forth nature’s fury as she attacks her enemy. Along with Artio, the latest patch brings with it a change to the pick and ban phase, letting players declare who they want to pick and ban before any choices are made. Along with that is the start of the Fall ranked split, which means new rewards for SMITE’s season ticket. You can read the full patch notes, here.

In Paladins, players will be getting Janos, the latest support character to be added to the roster. Janos brings with him long lasting damage over time, powerful setup potential and an ultimate designed to help finish fights. Janos fits alongside the other supports in Paladins while still providing players with another option on how they may want to assist their team. A new map will also be coming to the game: Splitstone Quarry. This Siege map provides players with fresh environmental hazards as well as some new avenues for attack that the other maps don’t provide. You can read the patch notes here.

Finally, Hand of the Gods will see the inclusion of the newest pantheon to the game: The Mayan. The Mayan pantheon focuses on using death and zombies to overwhelm opponents. The new strategies this pantheon brings will make enemies think twice before attacking your units. There will also be some new neutral cards and changes to preexisting cards. To get all the info on the new cards, check out the patch notes here.

Hi-Rez Studios always delivers on fun and exciting content for their games. The new patches are live and ready to play for anyone interested in jumping in and trying them.
