Apple has officially confirmed the release of the iPhone X, the newest and latest iPhone that is aiming to set a new standard for premium smartphones.

The iPhone X was announced during a keynote presentation where Apple presented the latest releases and products coming out this year. To hear an experts’ opinion on the new phone, check out the article we wrote.

The iPhone X is a stunning phone with an all-glass exterior and a back that no longer features the polished metal exterior of previous models. This exterior ensures that the newest iPhone is water and dust resistant. It also allows for built-in wireless charging with the new AirPower mat, which allows users to charge all of the latest apple devices wirelessly and in one location.

The back of the phone shows two cameras. Both cameras feature a 12 megapixel sensor. The wide-angle lens features an aperture of 1.8, while the telephoto lens has a 2.4 aperture. The inclusion of a Portrait Lighting mode is designed to take your photos to the next level. This mode promises to analyze the environment and will automatically provide the best lighting available.

Inside the iPhone X is the latest A11 Bionic chip with 64-bit architecture. The A11 chip includes a neural engine that is designed to speed up any and all machine learning.

The neural engine within the A11 helps the iPhone X with another new feature; gone is the home button and touch ID that users were familiar with. Instead, users will be able to unlock their new phone with their face. By simply looking at the iPhone X, users will be able to unlock their phone without the need for buttons. The TrueDepth camera technology is what allows for the iPhone X to raise the bar with face ID. This technology projects over 30,000 dots onto your face to create a precise depth map.

The iPhone X is available for pre-order starting October 27. The starting price is $999 USD for the 64GB model or $1,149 for the 256 GB model. To learn more about the iPhone X, check out the official Apple website.
