Stardew Valley Surprise Thursday October 5th Nintendo Switch Release 1

Stardew Valley will be out this Thursday, October 5th, 2017 for the Nintendo Switch.

The game has been confirmed to hit the Nintendo Switch for some time now, however, no definitive release for the title was available, until now. The surprise announcement broke on Twitter via ConcernedApe, the developer behind the popular farming and social simulation game. The Nintendo Switch version of Stardew Valley is a port of the original PC release of the title, and the Switch iteration is being worked on by Sickhead Games, who worked on bringing the title to other platforms such as the PlayStation 4.

The Nintendo Switch version of Stardew Valley will be available for USD 14.99 or CAD 18.75 when it launches this coming Thursday on the Nintendo eShop.

Stardew Valley first launched on PC back in February of 2016, the game eventually also saw release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Stardew Valley has been very well received, with CGMagazine giving it an impressive 9.5 out of 10, comparing the game to the likes of Harvest Moon.
