Despite the fact that this is the second delay the series has faced, the tweet was met positively by fans, who seem to admire to the high standards of quality imposed by Bandai on the Ni no Kuni series. The first entry, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch has received a score of 85 on Metacritic.

Bandai Namco has also made sure that the extra period before release is not just used for performance fixes, as they state: “With innovation and new ideas comes the need to ensure everything works together in a fun and cohesive way.” This is good news for any Ni no Kuni fan or JRPG fan alike because it directly indicates that this title will be packed with amazingly fun content for us to enjoy.

Ni no Kuni is a JRPG series focused on a character named Oliver as he tries to stop a powerful evil that is taking over the world. Ni no Kuni has gained its popularity due to a unique battle system and a fantastic soundtrack. Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will release March 23, 2018 on PC and PS4.
