Wireless Mice are nothing new, but Razer is looking to push that concept with the Razer Mamba HyperFlux that combines a mouse and Mousepad combo for true wireless freedom.

Unique to the Mamba HyperFlux, the included HyperFlux Firefly mouse mat creates a magnetic field that will transfer power to the specific mouse, without the need to charge batteries. This would be the first mouse and mat combo that powers a mouse in this way. This results in a mouse that manages to be ultra-light while still maintaining the convince of being fully wireless.

“While other companies have attempted to do wireless charging for mice, they have been unable to achieve true wireless power as their mice still need a battery to be charged. HyperFlux Wireless Power Technology is a game changer in the world of wireless gaming,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. “Gamers are no longer held at the mercy of a battery or cable. Instead, there will be true wireless freedom with a cordless gaming mouse that’s the same weight as a wired mouse.”

The Razer Mamba HyperFlux is also equipt with the Razer Adaptive Field Technology (AFT) to ensure there is always a strong connection with the PC. The mouse connection will adaptively scan and switch to the strongest signal within the 2.4GHz frequency. Merge that with 16,000 DPI 5G sensor, and the Razer Mamba HyperFlux is a top-tier wireless mouse that will never need charging or batties.

The charging HyperFlux Firefly mat maintains the Razer level of quality seen in all their mouse mats, and offers a hard and soft cloth dual side surface to fit your play style. And if that were not enough, both the mouse and the mat will offer Razer Chroma that gives access to 16.8 million colours for lighting and unique in-game effects.

The Razer Mamba HyperFlux is slated to release Q1 2018 and is priced at $249.99 or € 279.99.
