Outlast + Outlast Whistleblower Surprise Release In New Bundle For Nintendo Switch

Outlast + Outlast Whistleblower is now available on Nintendo Switch as Outlast: Bundle of Terror.

Just like the numerous jump scares that fill the halls of Mount Massive Asylum, Outlast and Outlast Whistleblower is now available for purchase on the Nintendo Switch E-shop, as a surprise release from Red Barrels.

The developer and publisher have also opened up pre-orders for Outlast 2 on Switch, which currently has no release date at this time. Those unfamiliar with the franchise, Outlast first released in 2013 on PC, it was later ported to consoles in 2014 with the included expansion downloadable episode, Whistleblower. The story follows an independent journalist who gets a tip regarding Mount Massive Asylum, a mysterious and thought to be, long abandoned home for the mentally ill. What awaits inside is a nightmarish romp for survival and a quest to find the truth behind what is happening behind closed doors.

The Whistleblower DLC which is also included in Outlast: Bundle of Terror, acts as a prequel to the main game and reveals the nefarious origins of Mount Massive Asylum.

Outlast: Bundle of Terror is now available digitally for $24.99 USD or $31.85 USD.
