The newest hero to join the Overwatch battlefield is getting her first skin.
The official Japanese Overwatch Twitter account has released a short video showing off Brigitte’s first skin. Being the daughter of everyone’s favourite short mechanic Torbjӧrn, Brigitte sports a steampunk look to accompany her tinkering skills.

Last week Blizzard revealed the identity of the 27th hero to join the unique cast of Overwatch. Brigitte was first shown at the last Blizzcon when Reinhardt’s origin video was revealed. There was speculation about who Brigitte could be, but she is now an official member of Overwatch. Brigitte accompanies Reinhardt as his squire and it was only a matter of time before she would join her friend and jump into the fray.
PC players have had the chance to try out the new hero and test out how she fits in the game. Brigitte is a tank/support class as she is able to use her ultimate to give her teammates shields and health. Being so close to Reinhardt, Brigitte has learned a few skills from the old crusader. Brigitte is able to manifest a small shield that she uses to bash into her enemies. She is also equipped with a mace that is able to swing at long distances.
There is no word yet on Brigitte’s full release, but for players who would like to test her out, she is available on the Public Test Servers on PC for you to jump into now.
