Razer Launches Digital Gaming Store

Gaming company Razer has officially launched its first ever digital gaming store.

The Razer Game Store offers instant access to thousands of digital games along with rewards on every purchase. The company called this move their “next step in its expanding ecosystem for gamers.” The Razer Game Store is live now in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and France with localized content, prices, payment methods, and customer support. Other countries such as Canada will feature prices converted from US Dollars.

Razer co-founder and CEO Min Liang Tan says that “as gamers, we know the importance of a good deal and the Razer Game Store delivers that to everyone. We have been delighting gamers with our high-performing peripherals, laptops and software, and we’re now also able to provide the content itself that fuels their passion.”

The company outlined its commitment to its customers in three main points: Selling only Authorized Keys, Providing Razer rewards on every purchase and offering Razer Exclusive Deals. Razor is best known for creating gaming accessories such as headphones, keyboards and various other hardware.

As for the type of games that will appear on the store, Razer says that they will include the industry’s biggest names including Ubisoft, Bethesda, Bandai Namco, Deep Silver, Rockstar, and many more. The company went on to say that gamers will see the years most anticipated titles on the platform including the upcoming Crew 2 and Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire as well as older games like Grand Theft Auto V and Cuphead.

On top of regular game releases, Razer also promises have certain games discounted up to 75% off their original price, vouchers of up to $15 with purchase of a game, double zSilver rewards, and a $10 voucher on Razer peripherals for the RazerStore. So far Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Grand Theft Auto V, Sid Meier’s Civilization VI Digital Deluxe have been announced for this promotion but Razer promises more in the future.

Also, to celebrate the launch, Razer is giving away 10,000 Steam key’s for the indie game Furie that you can sign up for here.
