The 2018 BAFTA awards were last night and the air was filled with anticipation on what games would receive awards. While several games were recognized for their innovation and beauty, it was What Remains of Edith Finch that took the best game of 2018.
Other games like Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and Super Mario Odyssey were also awarded artistic achievement and game design. The night was not filled with only game awards, however, various films like Coco, The Shape of Water and Blade Runner 2049 were also given awards.
