The Anime Research Society: Episode #8 1

It’s time once again for the Anime Research Society to explore the depths of anime – the good, the bad, the absolutely insane. Join them as they take a look at some of the best and worst of the season and some recommendations to lead you on your research journey.

This week on the Anime Research Society, Cole, Remington, Preston and Lisa kick off the Spring 2018 season by looking at the first three episodes of two 50th anniversary projects, Megalobox and Cutie Honey Universe. Celebrating the legacies of Ashita No Joe and mangaka, Go Nagai, the team dig into these new series to evaluate if they pay proper respect to the original material and if they have enough [Bite] to keep the audience hooked for more hot-blooded action.

The team dole out a few of their favourite anime from past seasons to check out. Lastly, prepare to feel the power to break through your limits when Remington shares what it takes to have a Shōnen Heart.

The Anime Research Society is available every Wednesday. Tune in and don’t miss a minute of the fun!
