Asus during their For Those Who Dare press event at Computex 2018 event, in Tapei, announced several new products, including a ROG-branded smartphone, several routers, CPU coolers and other exciting accessories. Cgmagonline is here to break down some of the standout products on display from the event.

The ROG or Republic of Gamers branded router, known as the ROG Rapture GT-AX11000, is the world’s first 10 Gigabit Wi-fi Router, supporting the latest 802.11ax Wi-fi Standard. The Rapture promises to deliver 2.53x higher data rates than previous 802.11 compliant devices. The router will handle data from multiple devices without breaking a sweat, thanks to the powerful OFDMA 802.11ax standard. The Rapture’s 2.5 Gigabit gaming ports have been designed specifically to prioritize gaming, making it the ideal choice for hardcore online game players.

PC builders looking to upgrade or those who just so happen to be in the market for a new cooler can look no further than the ROG Ryujin 360/240 system. The Ryujin offers PC enthusiasts with an impressive AIO that features the world’s first OLED display. the 1.77” LiveDash promises to deliver a vivid picture, giving users real-time stats, personalized images, gifs, making it a standout piece of any game oriented machine. Those looking for a smaller footprint can opt for the ROG Ryuo 240/120, a cooler designed specifically for smaller, more compact builds. The Ryuo will also come with its own 1.77” inch display and support for Aura Sync RGB lighting.

Another chassis on display during the event was the TUF Gaming GT501, a very military-inspired aesthetic, offering players with a study steel chase, with plastic only reserved for some of the smaller front-facing pieces, accentuated with smokey glass panels.

Asus also introduced a new power supply, the ROG Thor 1200w Platinum, the world’s first ROG branded power supply. the unit features an IP5X-certified 135mm wing-blade fan, OLED Power Display and 100% Japanese capacitors, with a 1,200-watt delivery, making it an ideal choice for those looking for a powerful and quality made product.

Asus is also bringing out a new ROG branded chassis, the ROG Strix gaming chassis. the new chassis will sport an industrial aluminum finish, smoked glass panels, fully addressable Aura RGB lighting, a qck charge usb 3.0 port, a USB 3.1 gen 2 type-C port, a tool-free ROG SSD Caddy, magnetic dust filter and a vertical graphics card for builders to easily get up and running.

Additional accessories include the ROG Balteus Qi, an RGB mousepad featuring high-performance wireless charging, 15 individual RGB zones, USB 2.0 pass-through and more. Finally, the ROG Gladius II wireless is an optical gaming mouse designed with industry-leading performance, with a 16000dpi. ultra-fast 1ms response time and 2.4Ghz Bluetooth bandwidth, making it an ideal wireless mouse solution for PC players.

Another mouse on offer from Asus under the ROG brand is the TUF Gaming A5 mouse. The peripheral is made durable via a coating of special paint, allowing it stand-up to heavy use over a long period of time. The mouse sports Omron switches under the left and right buttons, rated to survive 50 million clicks. All the buttons featured on the mouse are programmable, meaning users will be able to customize the mouse to their own personal preferences. Finally, the A5 rocks an impressive 6200 DPI sensor, making it ideal for even the twitchiest of games.

To complement the mouse, the Asus K5 TUF keyboard is available in addition to the TUF Gaming Headset. The K5 keyboard is a tough and built to last beast of a keyboard, offering users keys that like the mouse, are reinforced with special paints that can take prolonged usage and strain. The keyboard is also splash-proof, meaning users won’t have a brick on their hands if they manage to spill some liquid on to the keys.

The TUF Gaming H5 headset like the keyboard and mouse has been built with quality in mind, featuring a stainless steel headband, a lightweight design all in a uniform and stylish design. The headset includes a USB adapter that adds virtual surround sound system.

Players that prefer console gaming but also want the benefits of a monitor can look into the Asus ProArt PA34V professional monitor and the CG32, both feature 4k UHD screens and are an ideal choice for both console and PC players.

Users looking for something less involved but still powerful can check out the TUF Gaming FX504 Laptop. The laptop features a 15.6” display, a 120hz refresh rate, with an impressive GTX 1060 GPU and an i7-8750H intel processor.
