After being rumoured for months, Battle Royale fanatics will finally be able to race shopping carts, launch themselves sky-high, and fight to the last man standing on-the-go in Epic Games’, Fortnite, officially confirmed for the Nintendo Switch during the Nintendo E3 Direct.

On the Nintendo Switch, Fortnite players can have the complete Battle Royale experience. They can play together online with friends in the same room, or even people from around the world.

Along with yesterday’s update, today is just icing on the cake, as the game will be out at 1 pm EST for free. Players only need to visit the Nintendo Switch eShop and download the game before they’re able to jump into the chaos.

This is a perfect chance for both new and old players of Fortnite to enjoy the game while they’re on-the-go or on the big screen in the comfort of their own home.

This isn’t the only Fortnite news happening today, as the Burnout Outfit and Chomp Jr Pickaxe are available now. Along with the exciting Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am premiering today, E3 2018 is only the beginning for this hit game.

The Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am will feature 50 pro-players and 50 celebrities. They will pair up for the Victory Royale. Fans who watch the live stream will also get the chance to win an epic swag bag, while one lucky viewer will get the grand-prize VIP loadout.

Swag bag loot will include a t-shirt, socks, hat, pins, and more. To get in on the loot, viewers must join one of Fortnite’s official live streams of the event. They must be active in the chat to win, and two bags will be given out per channel.
