AJ Styles Joins the WWE 2K19 Million Dollar Smackdown 3

Along with confirming fan favourite AJ Styles as the cover of WWE 2K19, 2K Games just announced its WWE 2K19 Million Dollar Challenge.

One contest winner will not only get to fight in-game against wrestler AJ Styles, but also win a cash prize if they emerge victoriously.

Starting October 9, players can participate in this international contest through their PS4 and Xbox One in four steps:

  1. Beat the new, to-be-announced game mode.
  2. Submit a promotional video showing why you can best AJ Styles in WWE 2K19.
  3. Make it to the semifinals and beat the other three semifinalists of the competition.
  4. Complete in a one-on-one match in WWE 2K19 against AJ Styles and defeat him to win 1 million dollars.

For AJ Styles, it’s a dream come true to be chosen as the new game’s cover Superstar.

“From Seth Rollins last year to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, John Cena, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Brock Lesnar, I am honoured to join this incredible list of past WWE 2K cover Superstars and put my own unique stamp on the franchise,” he said. “Get ready to join me in the virtual ring, because WWE 2K19 and the WWE 2K19 Million Dollar Challenge will be nothing short of phenomenal!”

“Each year, we work to deliver the best in WWE product authenticity, gameplay, modes, customization and creative control, and this year will be no different for our passionate worldwide fan base,” Chris Snyder, the vice president of marketing for 2K, added.

Fans should buckle up and get ready for the new game, as 2K Games has even more in store for everyone this year. The WWE 2K19 Deluxe Edition and WWE 2K19 Collector’s Edition, for example, will give players early access to their game copies and some in-game bonuses. This will begin four days early on October 5 this year for the PS4,  Xbox One, and PC.

WWE 2K19 is currently scheduled for release on October 9.
