HyperX just announced that NFL Pittsburgh Steelers player, JuJu Smith-Schuster, will become its new gaming brand ambassador. He is the first professional football player in the NFL to work with HyperX.

As the Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receiver, Smith-Schuster is also a dedicated gamer. He will be showing off the audio quality and comfort of HyperX’s headsets during his future gaming livestreams. He will also participate in marketing campaigns and appear at HyperX fan events.

“When I’m not training, studying, or at practice, I’m in my element playing video games; my HyperX headset offers the sound quality and comfort I need to stay focused and win,” Smith-Schuster said.

The NFL player is excited about this new partnership, as he is already a fan of their headsets. He also loves how the brand is always looking for unique ways to work together with people in different industries.

As HyperX is expanding into the console gaming market, they are happy to have NFL player Smith-Schuster join their team as a brand ambassador. “His love for gaming is displayed all over his social media, YouTube, and even on the football field,” Dustin Illingworth, the influencer manager at HyperX, said. “JuJu has brought more sports fans to gaming.”

Along with like Ninja, Drake and Travis Scott, Smith-Schuster gained popularity in the gaming world by playing Fortnite together with the star-studded group on Twitch. That playthrough broke the record for being the most-viewed livestream.
