built with lasers for faster response time

Earlier today, Razer took the time to announce their latest addition to their impressive range of mechanical keyboards, the Razer Huntsman Elite line of premium boards.

As is the case with any flagship or premium line of products, Razer’s new Huntsman Elite mechanical Keyboard sports some impressive features, including the Razer Opto-Mechanical Switch technology, a feature that employs a 1.5mm actuation point on individual keys, allowing 30% faster response time, than a traditional mechanical keyboard, through the use of precise infrared lasers.

Response time isn’t the only aspect of the Huntsman line, with Razer promising an impressive, 100 million keystrokes, the Razer Huntsman Elite mechanical keyboard has been built to last.

“We have amassed years of experience developing and manufacturing our very own Razer™ Mechanical Switches designed specifically for gamers,” says Razer CEO and Co-Founder Min-Liang Tan. “This focused expertise has now expanded upon our brand’s legacy with the new Razer Opto-Mechanical Switch that delivers an all-new level of performance that is optimized for top-tier esports competition.”

Of course, the keyboard wouldn’t be complete without support for Razer’s award-winning Chroma technology. The Razer Huntsman will allow enthusiasts to fully deck out the RGB array, save favourite effects and even upload them to the Chroma Cloud.

The Razer Huntsman is available starting today. Designed with Opto-Mechanical Switches and full Razer Chroma backlit keys, the keyboard provides the fastest actuation, high-performance gaming experience within Razer’s keyboard line.
