Mysterious Carriage Joins Anchor in Fortnite, Possibly Alluding to Season 5 1

With Season 5 of Fortnite steadily approaching, Epic seems to have dropped some not so subtle easter eggs inside the battle royale game map through the use of mysterious rifts in time and space.

Beginning with the appearance, or rather, the disappearance of Tomato Town’s Tomato shaped mascot and Greasy Grove’s Durr Burger piece (which ended up reappearing in a real-life desert). Epic has started to spawn in seemingly random and larger objects all over the map.

The anchor, which had the honour of being the first item to appear inside the game world has now been followed up with the addition of an old-timey carriage, minus the horse or any occupants, unfortunately. Fans are speculating that these seemingly unrelated items are in-fact, giant Easter eggs, foreshadowing the theme of the upcoming 5th season. This wouldn’t be too surprising, as Season 3 saw heavy foreshadowing surrounding the meteors that were eventually featured in the 4th Season.
