The new semester is only a couple of months away.

Apple is already helping students plan for all their back-to-school needs with their latest tech deals.

Starting it off, they have perks for postsecondary students, their parents, and teachers and staff through Apple Education Pricing. For example, when students purchase a Mac or an iPad Pro for either college or university, they can get a pair of Beats headphones for those long study and homework sessions.

For students who already own Apple products that are in need of an upgrade, they can consider trading products in for credit towards getting new ones. These products include the iPad, iPhone, a Mac, or an Apple Watch.

Here are some of the back-to-school and must-have technology that Apple has to offer:

MacBook Pro with Touch Bar

This is a fast and powerful MacBook that is thin, light and has a colourful Mac notebook display. The Touch Bar itself is a strip of glass built into the keyboard for students to easily access tools and boost their productivity. This product is available in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes.

MacBook

Available in Space Grey, Gold, Rose Gold, and Silver, the MacBook can deliver fast performance and give users up to 10 hours of battery life. This is great for students who have to easily and quickly take down notes due to multiple lectures throughout the day.

MacBook Air

The MacBook Air has a long battery life of up to 12 hours, as well as easy portability. It allows students to work unplugged from the morning coffee run through the evening. With Intel Core processors, writing up essays, editing photos, and browsing the web becomes ultrafast.

iMac Pro

The iMac Pro may just be the dream device for Canada’s next generation of creatives. Whether or not a student is studying to become a software developer, scientist, or architect, this device offers pro-grade graphics, processors, advanced storage, memory, and a Retina 5K display.

iMac

The iMac offers an all-in-one desktop experience for students, and it’s packed with new processors and the latest graphic technologies, along with innovative storage and higher-bandwidth connectivity. It’s available in 21.5-inch or 27-inch sizes.

iPad

The new 9.7-Inch iPad has a keyboard and support with the Apple Pencil. With slick speeds when it comes to editing 4K videos, drawing, and coding, this device has great multitasking capabilities. Along with handling graphics-intensive apps, it can also handle AR. It’s available in Space Grey, Silver, and Gold.

iPad Pro

When coupled with the Apple Pencil, the iPad Pro feels responsive and natural. The Smart Keyboard can connect easily to this device as well, so students can type quick notes, papers, and emails. This device is available in 10.5-inch or 12.9-inch sizes.

In addition to the back-to-school essentials, students can gear up and take life around campus to the next level with some of the following Apple products:

iPhone

This personal device is as powerful as it is gorgeous. The iPhone X has a 5.8-inch Super Retina screen, a camera that includes sensors for Face ID, as well as cute Animojis for texting.

Apple Watch

The Apple Watch can keep students organized, connected, and moving throughout the school year. There are a bunch of band colours to choose from, so students can also be fashion forward. The Apple Watch Series 3 allows students to take a call, ask Siri to send someone a message, and even stream songs through Apple Music when they are out exercising.

AirPods

AirPods are changing the way students use headphones, as they can easily turn on and connect to an iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac. When users double-tap their AirPods, they can adjust the volume, make a call, get directions, or change the song.

HomePod

For students who love jamming to music at home, the HomePod is a music speaker that can spruce up the dorm. It’s controlled by Siri, and can stream songs, as well as inform students about the daily news, sports, and weather.

Apple TV 4K

This Apple product can stream your favourite television channels live, as well as access content from your favourite apps like Netflix and iTunes. The Apple TV 4K is great for students who always want that cinematic experience.

Apple Music

Apple Music gives students a three-month trial and later student pricing at $4.99 CAD per month. This plan lets students either stream or download their favourite tunes and even discover new artists thanks to the everyday curated playlists.

The next semester is only about a couple of months away, but with the help of Apple products, students can be prepared to tackle it head-on and succeed.
