The panel will detail artwork of The Boomsday Project, and how the team went from concept sketches to the final card art.
Meanwhile, some behind the scenes information featuring Overwatch’s newest hero, Wrecking Ball, is scheduled to be revealed on July 20. Lead writer Michael Chu and lead hero designer Geoff Goodman, along with assistant art director Arnold Tsang and senior sound designer Geoffrey Garnett will be presenting this panel. Audience members will also be able to participate in a Q&A session with the team afterwards.
Christie Golden, the author of World of Warcraft novels that range from Before the Storm and War Crimes to old favourites like Lord of the Clans and Rise of the Horde will also be joining in on a panel discussion, and later a book signing. Along with Jody Houser, Mark Evanier, and Steve Danuser as other panelists, Golden will talk about how they bring the stories of Blizzard’s universes to life. The panel is scheduled to take place on July 21, and Golden’s book signing will happen about half an hour afterwards.
