Jurassic World Alive New Update Brings Major Changes, Apple Canada Exclusive Event

Pokemon Go ushered in a new style of games that push the AR and GPS abilities of your smartphone, allowing you to interact with a game like never before.

Now, a few years later, there Jurassic World Alive from Ludia carries the torch forward, offering players the ability to capture, breed and fight some of your favourites dinosaurs. Downloaded over 6 million times within the first 10 days it became available in the Apple AppStore, Jurassic World Alive is a smash success, and now with their latest update, they are raising the bar on what you can do in the app.

The new update, Jurassic World Alive Version 1.3.11, carries with it a slew of updates and changes to the location-based game. From a new day-night cycle, improvements to the social features, friend battles, new achievements and dinosaurs, to an increase in rare and epic creatures, if you are new to Jurassic World Alive or simply revisiting it, there has never been a better time.

If that were not enough, Jurassic World Alive is also having a real-world event, taking place exclusively at Apple Stores across Canada. Starting at 10:00 EST/ 7:00 PST on Friday, July 27th, the rare Brachiosaurus will be available on the iOS version of the app to players who visit 29 select Apple stores. Players will have six chances to obtain the needed DNA samples to add the Brachiosaurus to their collection. To help with this quest, a boosted Supply Drop will appear near Apple Stores to ensure they have all the tools needed to capture this rare beast.

The full details for the Jurassic World Alive update can be viewed on the Ludia community forums, and if you are on iOS and want the Brachiosaurus, head down to the Apple Store near you. The Brachiosaurus will be released into the wild on August 3rd for anyone not near an Apple store in Canada.
