Fortnite Wrecks Havoc With Explosive Content Update

Fortnite is wrecking havoc today with a new and explosive Limited time Mode along with a blast from the past. The Fly Explosives LTM is all about jetpacks, missiles, and explosives galore, while the Guided Missile is back from the Vault and dropping in Fortnite Battle Royale.

In Fly Explosives mode, only Explosive Weapons can be found, jetpacks are spawned as Floor Loot, and Fly Explosives Jetpacks get an increased fuel regen rate and a decreased burn rate. Rocket Ammunition is capped at 120, while players’ KD ratio and wins are also tracked. The wait-times between the Storm have also been decreased in this new mode, which makes the rush to get the best weapons even more intense — especially with the return of the Guided Missile.

There have been a few tweaks since the last time we’ve seen the Guided Missile in action. It has returned with an increased reload time to 2.4/2.2, a fuse duration decrease from 18 to 15 seconds, movement speed decrease from 1100 to 1000, reduced player damage down to 74/77, reduce structure damage down to 400, and now can damage structures without regarding Line of Sight. These missiles are available as Epic and Legendary variants, and can be controlled using the keyboard with the default movement inputs.

Fortnite Save the World players get to take aim and fire, too, as the newest addition to the Flintlock Weapon set, the Spyglass Sniper Rifle, lets them take a powerful, single shot while sniping. This weapon is an accurate, high-powered, scoped sniper rifle that has a single round per magazine. It kicks like a mule and will be added to the Weekly Store for a limited time from August 1 at 8 p.m. ET to August 8 at 8 p.m. ET.

Enemies don’t stand a chance with these weapons and updates at each player’s arsenal. It’s always the perfect time for mayhem in Fortnite, but this content update has made it 100 times more explosive and chaotic.
