Team17 and Mouldy Toof Studios just revealed that The Escapists: Complete Edition will be tunnelling towards the Nintendo Switch.

The Escapists is a sandbox prison-escape game, where players must collect funds, hide their stashes, barter with others, as well as work around strict schedules and guards before successfully fleeing.

Players who purchase The Escapists: Complete Edition will get all the prisons from the base game and nine bonus maps. One map, in particular, will be Fhurst Peak, which will be released for the first time ever on console.

The Escapists: Complete Edition also features 15 unique prisons to escape from, all the DLC packs, multiple escape strategies, 10 different prison jobs, as well as a crafting system that allows players to make things like shovels, cutters, and various weapons.

The game will be downloadable for the Nintendo Switch later this year.
