Today, AMD announced the availability of their latest Ryzen based desktop processors, the AMD Ryzen 5 2500X and the AMD Ryzen 3 2300X. Additionally, the just-released Acer Nitro N50-100 Desktop will prominently feature the new 2500x Ryzen architecture.
Both processors utilize the new Ryzen Max Boost 4GHz Technology, along with Precision Boost 2 and XFR 2 algorithms, introduced in the second generation Ryzen Desktop CPU architecture, offering more efficient and stable computational power for the end user. Additionally, both the Ryzen 5 2500X and Ryzen 3 2300X feature a unique, single enabled CCX, built on an a12nm process, with the Zen architecture, with an approximately 8-10% increase in single and multi-threaded operations than the previous generation.
Just like the Ryzen X series, these new processors come unlocked, meaning performance and fine-tuning have been considered from the get-go, making them an ideal fit for those who like to tinker, or are in the market for a versatile and powerful CPU. A full list of specs can be read down below:
