Fortnite patch v7.10 has just arrived and it features updates for Battle Royale and Save the World.
Notable updates include Heavy Assault Rifle changes, improved balloon controls, and the ability for ground vehicles to slide on icy surfaces in Fortnite Battle Royale.
Meanwhile, Fortnite Save the World introduces Frostnite, which features a new objective where players must keep their Burner filled with BluGlo in order to surviving a long, winter night. Players should keep in mind that as the Burner’s health decreases, the Storm Shield shrinks.
In addition to these updates is an exciting winter event called the 14 days of Fortnite, which will kick off on December 19 in Battle Royale and Save the World.
During this event, Fortnite Battle Royale players can either pick up a Snowball Launcher or hide in a Legendary Bush after dropping off the festive Battle Bus. Players will also get a new challenge and reward every single day during the event. Each day will have new and old LTMs to play in as well.
For players who want new holiday outfits, the Item Shop will be selling them along with old returning favourites.
As for Fortnite Save the World, it will be getting returning and new-themed enemies. Players will get to fight against holiday husks on a winter map during the event. Every day, a new holiday quest will also unlock, and completing them would give players snowflake tickets. These tickets can be used in the store. Players will also get a free Smorgasbord Llama for a few days around Christmas.
The 14 days of Fortnite event begins tomorrow at 9 a.m. ET.
