Pixels and Ink: Episode #302

Epic Store Struggle

Pixels and Ink: Episode #302

The Pixels & Ink crew are back for the second episode of the new format, this time diving into the Epic Game Store.

This year brought us a new Steam competitor, the Epic Games store, and with the power of Fortnite and fantastic terms for developers, they are starting to snatch up high profile titles, and recently they managed to secure exclusive PC rights for Metro Exodus.

Brendan, Lisa and Joe sit down and discuss what this means for the industry, how steam can fight back, and if this is good for the consumer. There are some mixed feelings, but everyone agrees, this will force Steam to reevaluate what it is doing to fight back.
