Rumour: Lady Gaga Will be Appearing in Cyberpunk 2077

According to a report from the French gaming website Actugaming, Lady Gaga, the pop singer turned Oscar-nominated actor was recently spotted at CD Projekt Red’s Polish studio. Sadly, the nature of her visit is unknown, but Actugaming seems to think that the star was there to complete a motion capture performance.

However, there still aren’t a lot of details surrounding the potential collaboration, meaning her inclusion in Cyberpunk could be limited to a minor performance or soundtrack inclusion.

The report would certainly give some context to Cyberpunk’s strange reply to one of Gaga’s 2012 tweets.

Of course! Of course we will! 😎

— Cyberpunk 2077 (@CyberpunkGame) September 18, 2018

If rumours are true, the above tweet means that the collaboration could have been in the works since as far back as September of 2018. That information could lend some credibility to the theory that Gaga will have a larger part to play in the game than as a mere one-off secondary character.

Even so, the news is coming from a single unidentified source, meaning you should take it with a grain of salt. For all we know, Gaga was never even spotted and the above tweet was some strange fluke. We’ll have to wait and see whether CD Projekt has any news about the game at this year’s E3.
