The cooperative Behemoth-slaying action-RPG Dauntless will release on PS4, Xbox One, and The Epic Games Store on May 21st.

After entering open beta on May 24th, 2018, Phoenix Labs has announced that Dauntless will finally have its full release on consoles and the Epic Store. To encourage everyone to try the game and play with their friends, Robin Mayne, co-founder of Phoenix Labs, has stated that this release will support cross-play, a Switch port is in development, and a mobile release is being considered for down-the-line.

The hunting game has already seen a large amount of success, drawing in over 3 million players to slay its giant beasts. Players take the role of Slayers, defending the aether that holds the Shattered Isles aloft from powerful Behemoths that seek to consume it. With up to three other Slayers, the hunt is on for the dangerous beasts and their repurposable body parts.

Alongside the full release and console launch, May 21st will bring Hunt Pass Season 5: Hidden Blades, the Mastery system, and a full campaign rework. Slayers will gain access to the Moon Blossom Festival and a slew of ninja-themed gear, a new way to customize and grow their characters, and a whole new lease on their Behemoth-hunting quest. An Arcslayer Pack will be available for purchase so new players can kick-start their adventure, though the Ramsguard will be locked off when it comes out.

Dauntless is currently available for free on PC via PlayDauntless.com. Once more, it will release on consoles and the Epic Store on May 21st, 2019.
