Xiaomi Announces The Xiaomi 7A; K20 and K20 Pro

Affordable Variety for all

Xiaomi Announces The Xiaomi 7A; K20 and K20 Pro 1

Ever since the Xiaomi Mi 9, the Chinese company has proved it can provide users with quality phones at an affordable price. Now, Xiaomi continues this trend with three newly announced products.

The K20 and K20 pro are Xiaomi’s first revision of the all screen phone-concept since the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. Featuring a 6.39 inch AMOLED screen with a whopping 91.9% screen to body ratio — all thanks to a motorized pop-up selfie camera — the K20 line of phones aims to provide users the best content-viewing experience. This is further supported by the raw power that backs these devices, coming in the form of both the latest Snapdragon 855 for the K20 Pro and the more than usable Snapdragon 730 mid-range processor in the K20. Beyond beefy processors, both phones feature 6GB of ram and a minimum of 64GB memory.

Whereas power is plentiful, so is battery life, with both the K20 and K20 Pro delivering 4000mAh of juice. Beyond being a potential gaming beast, the K20 series also features both a great everyday camera, with both the K20 and K20 Pro receiving the 8MP + 48MP+ 13MP triple camera setup. The best part is that both phones, all packing a lot of sleek features, start a low price of only 1999 Yuan for the K20 and 2499 Yuan for the K20 Pro, pricing themselves at same price as last year’s Pocofone F1.

In the less premium territory, Xiaomi announced the continuation of last year’s well regarded Xiaomi 6A. The new 7A now features a Snapdragon 549, 4000mAh of battery, a 13MP dual camera and a 5.45 Inch screen. Considering the low starting price of 549 Yuan for the 2GB of Ram and 16GB memory variant, the Xiaomi 7A offers a solid amount of phone for those who are on a very tight budget.

For computer users, Xiaomi unveiled the RedmiBook 14, a powerful, and highly affordable 14 inch computer that combines gaming smite with portability. Packing the Nvidea GeForce MX250, 8GB of Ram and either the latest i5 or i7 processors, the RedmiBook 14 is no slouch. The laptop can be configured starting at 3999 Yuan for the i5+ 256GB SSD version up to the 4999 i7+ 512GB SSD variant.

With a great variety of pricing and quality, Xiaomi offers users a plethora of ways to access its ever-growing ecosystem. All products announce will be available through the month of June.
