New Games and New Updates Debut at Ubisoft E3 2019 1

As the PC Gaming Show closes in on its final act for E3 2019, Ubisoft is right there to pick up the baton and continue the rollercoaster of exciting game announcements. With well over 70 games showcased over the course of the weekend thus far, Ubi made sure to add to that total with an impressive conference packed with thrilling new updates to everyone’s current favourite titles and huge game reveals that players can’t wait to get their hands on in the near future.

Ubisoft kicked off their conference with the Assassin’s Creed Symphony Orchestra, celebrating the franchise’s pantheon of games with a brief compilation of many of the fan favourite themes across the series. Audiences can experience the World Tour firsthand starting June 29th, featuring a large 80 piece choir and orchestra.

However, we’re here for games, not just beautiful music. Ubisoft began their series of announcements revealing Watch Dogs Legion. Set in the rather bleak future of London, players are part of the resistance movement, DedSec, who are prepared to take back their city from the grips of the authoritative regime, Albion. The catch with this latest entry is that players are going to be able to recruit and control any person they find on the streets of London, each with their own stories and unique talents. While at first the gameplay reveal made the story feel much more serious in tone, akin to the first Watch Dogs, it quickly became clear that it still has that humourous charm of its last entry when the player took control of an elderly woman and proceeded to outsmart the enemies occupying a subway station with drones and other gadgets.
