12 minutes of off-screen footage of Square Enix, Crystal Dynamics, and Eidos Montreal’s Marvel’s Avengers has appeared online.
Square Enix capped off their E3 conference this year by revealing the first information about the upcoming Marvel title, but few, if any, gameplay details were shown. Now, 12 minutes of cam footage from a private presentation has surfaced online thanks to a YouTube video. The original video has been taken down, but you can find download links if you want to see it.
Impressions of the footage I have read seem to indicate that it is somewhat early footage, and takes place in a scripted sequence at the beginning of the game. Further specifics can be heard from content creators who saw the footage in-person, like Maximiliandood of YoVideogames.
More information about the game will come out over the next year. Marvel’s Avengers is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on May 15, 2020.
