FFVII’s Tifa Now Available In Dissidia Final Fantasy NT 1

FFVII’s Tifa Now Available In Dissidia Final Fantasy NT

Tifa Lockhart, Final Fantasy VII’s famous martial artist and female gaming icon, is now available in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT.

She’s ready for purchase in both the standard version and the Free Edition for $5.99 USD, with her alternate Advent Children appearance and cosmetic weapon sold separately. Tifa brings her usual close-range brawling flair to Dissidia NT as a speedy Assassin, losing the feinting ability she had in Duodecim in favour of ‘Fever Time’, increasing the number of attacks available after pulling off successful combos (which is similar to several other characters’ gimmicks). She can be a credit to her team by using her unique EX Skill ‘Limit Break’ to buff them with her signature roulette wheel.

Also, to celebrate the launch of Final Fantasy XIV’s Shadowbringers expansion, players can download a free costume for the downloadable character Zenos yae Galvus from today until August 7th, 2019. The expansion has received fan and critical praise, so between it and the FFVII Remake news at E3, Square Enix is leveraging the hype from their products quite well.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is a 3v3 arena fighter available now on Steam and PS4, and a Free Edition with four rotating characters is also available. Dissidia Duodecim for the PSP is my favourite game so NT isn’t to my taste, but you can try it out for yourself with no cost and then emulate Duodecim to see what you’ve been missing.
