Developer Cultic Games and publisher 1C Entertainment have planned a September 26th release for Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones.
Drawing directly from the works of H.P. Lovecraft and employing an exquisitely grotesque hand-drawn art style, Stygian puts you in the 1920s as you create your own character based on one of eight different archetypes pulled from the pages of cosmic horror history. This turn-based RPG offers different attributes for each class, as well as class-specific belief systems that affect how your characters interact with the world and narrative at large.
Those attending Gamescom can get an early taste of Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones on August 20th. For the rest, the game is currently available to be wishlisted on Steam, and will descend on September 26th. Keep your wits about you, good scholars…
